Resources for Nonprofits

Organizations that help populations in need every day may face financial stress as demand for services increases. United Way has established a Community Response Fund to address emerging needs.   We are also organizing donations for supplies and volunteers.

If you are an organization that is providing resources to address COVID-19, please email 211connects@uwca.org.  to be sure your information is current.
If you are a 501c 3 nonprofit organization who needs financial assistance, complete our online grant application to apply for financial assistance from United Way.  Limited grants are available to organizations that can demonstrate a need for funds as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Based upon the charitable structure of the COVID-19 Response Fund, our grants are limited to 501c3 nonprofit organizations, groups fiscally sponsored by a 501c3 nonprofit organization, or other charitable organizations able to receive a tax-deductible contribution, such as schools, faith-based organizations, and other public entities. We are not able to fund individuals or businesses directly, labor unions, or other 501c4, 501c5, and 501c6 organizations.

If you are a nonprofit organization with an urgent need for supplies or volunteers, please complete our online grant application or contact Carol Berry, Resource Development Specialist at United Way of Cullman County, 256-739-2948 or cberry@uwaycc.org
